For that divine prayer

history_of_temples_thum

A connection with the higher being, a surrender to the eternal, a prayer, elements served as the symbols of the almighty in the Hindu culture in the earlier times, later on maturing into idol worship. There used to prevail times when elements were worshiped with the acknowledgement of the power they held against the frailness of the human beings. With progressing times and the development of technology with which man incessantly endeavors to out do and defy nature, the elemental connection for the surrender of oneself is now lost somewhere. Yet, miraculously, the faith is not lost. Man, time and again does feel the need to relapse in to ever giving lap of the Omni present. In effect, the ways have changed, not the faith.

Today man has an effective path towards spiritual rejuvenation- a temple becomes the link between man and the God through the communication of prayer.

In today’s times, when man is juggling between the call of the time and the call of the inner voice, there is no peace within. The soothing ambience of a temple provides an interval from this battle and offers the space for a complete surrender.

Art is divinity, for that divine experience, the aesthetic beauty of the temple accentuates the experience. Our temples are the bridges one to transcend into the realms of meditation, bringing oneself closer to GOD.
